Since it was founded in 2021, Phoenix Nights has done a lot of crazy things. 2024 is no exception, we want to continue to design the very best of FFXIV experiences whilst maintaining our iconic formula. Starting every quarter we plan to release an Open Letter to show what’s upcoming and what we’re up to, offering you a deep dive into our plan.
WE're evolving our editions
STARTING FROM ZERO
We want our Editions to be the highest level of production. For that to be achieved, we need more time to outline and design these events. We’re introducing a new special event series that separates itself from our Editions and to fill in the time between them.
This is what we’re calling Phoenix Nights Zero.

We aim to work on making these specific experiences better on Zero, we're not distracted on delivering the main theme in this - our aim is to make the experience tailored to the Clubbers & Gamblers.
In Zero you will also be able to pre-book into any of these services as we build a new system to handle this.
Zero is about enjoying the night with the music, it's our Nightclub experience.
Zero will always be on a Sunday, intended to fill between Editions.

ZERO TO LAUNCH
Phoenix Nights Zero is debuting on Sunday 28th January with a whole new Partake format and launch philosophy. We can’t reveal all the details yet, but mark it in your calendars.

The next step in simplifying the way we collaborate with other Organisations & Personalities is to identify the way we do things with them and making it easier for you to get involved with us.

THE NEW PARTNERSHIP SYSTEM
We’re highly committed to working with some amazing talent out there. Fostering a great community has always been our goal and connecting people together. Just because we do our own things does not mean we can’t do them with you.
We missed out on working with a lot of Organisations & Personalities last year, whether you’re an up and coming club or a new streamer – our Editions & Gambling haven’t always been incredibly accessible.
We’re opening up our partnership in two ways. We will be launching applications for these in this quarter. Whether it’s gambling you’re after or getting the chance to be involved in our next Lord of The Rings event*

We’re separating it into two different sections. Over this quarter, we will automatically move you to the right areas.

THE FIRST SATURDAY EDITION
For the first time in Phoenix Nights history, we’re debuting our next mainline Edition on a Saturday.
THE MOVE TO SATURDAY
Balancing the logistics to deliver everything we want to deliver on an Edition can be challenging especially on a Sunday.
Last year we saw a lot of the content we originally planned for the Editions cut back by more than 40% due to last minute changes and time constraints.
Saturday is the solution.

Why we're doing this

Accessibility
Saturdays are easier for the vast majority of our Patrons to be available. Our survey showed that more than 50% of our usual Patrons didn't get a chance to visit us on Sunday in our last 4 Editions.

Late Nights
We want to give you the full scope of our Editions, in the past we've not been able to run late. With another weekend day to follow after, it also makes it easier for our Patrons to stay with us until the end.

Resources
There will only be a mainline Edition once a month. We want it to be on a day where we can have the full breadth of our Staff available and resources. We stay up really late to ensure it goes well, Sunday lets us rest.
Fifty Shades of Red 2
To debut on our first Saturday, we’re working on the next iteration of our extremely NSFW event. Debauchery of the highest class. You can expect an expansive auction once again.
Complete with a music video that is not for the faint of heart.
Our main collaboration partner Haven will return alongside this event with some of your favourite iconic NSFW venues to feature, such as LPM, Night Court & Flex.
