How does it work?
Competitions always start on Wednesday evening(the week after our opening) and close on Sunday(our opening day) at 16ST.(11days)
To participate, simply find the #screenshot-contest channel at the top of our discord and post a picture that fits our current theme!
Prizes will always include at least 10m and a feature on our social medias but can also have additional items depending on our openings and partners.
There are multiple judges (PN, our partners & winner from last contest) to determine a Top 3.
Winners will usually be announced at around 19 ST during the PN opening. To claim your prize you must be at the venue during the opening night.
Rules
Entries are limited to one submission per person.
It has to be an in-game screenshot of your character/s.
If you commission someone to make a picture for you, please add the original creator to your post.
Mods and editing allowed but don’t grant you an advantage.
Using AI isn’t directly prohibited but it will score low in our categories.
We hold the rights to remove untasteful posts that are against moral guidelines or that have nothing to do with the theme.
Judging
We always have 6-7 judges which each fill in their own sheet with 4 categories per submission.
The categories are: Theme, Effort, Creativity and one bonus category which is based on if the picture is edited or not. Categories are each scored 0-10.
Edited (How good does it look based on background, added items, editing, …)
Not Edited (How good does it look based on shaders, lighting, scenery, …)
Judges can also participate in the contest but are not able to rate their own pictures, which then has no impact on the final scoring since we use the average of all judges totals!
Nailing the Theme and doing that with a unique, creative idea already makes up a very large portion of the rating.
Post processing is purely optional and doesn’t give you any advantage over someone that puts a lot of effort into a none edited screenshot.
It’s merely about the participants preference of style if they want to try to get a high rating with an edit or with a standard screenshot.
